Bistro du Midi's cuisine features French Cuisine inspired by Coastal New England influences. Our wine list represents the true soul of a bistro wine list. In a classic French bistro, wine is very much a part of every meal. As such, we offer a variety of experiences and wines at a tremendous value in a range of prices. Our elegant yet relaxed environment overlooks Boston's beautiful Public Garden with a spectacular view. A street level Bistro features floor-to-ceiling windows, and in the spring and summer our patio provides some of the most optimal al fresco dining in the city.

    Happy Valentine's Day! In celebration of romance and the special occasion, Bistro du Midi will be offering a five-course prix fixe dinner menu at $195 per person. Champagne features & wine pairings will also be available. Reservations will be accommodated in both our downstairs Bistro and our upstairs main dining room. Our two bars will be available on a walk-in basis offering a special a la carte dinner menu. Please note that our regular dinner and tasting menus will not be available this evening. We look forward to celebrating with you!

                                                                              Bistro du Midi is my new favorite French restaurant. The downstairs felt like a nice cocktail bar, while the upstairs felt like an intimate slice of Paris. The food was incredible! It is on the menu, I highly recommend the beet gnocchi as an appetizer. My girlfriend and I had the duck breast, ora king salmon, with a side of cauliflower. Each bite left us feeling satisfied with the craving to have more . Well worth it for the experience, and the service was exceptional. I cannot wait until we eat here again!

Perennial favorite best foie gras anywhere in the world joined by delightful new experiences such as First Course lobster cappuccino. This is the Never Disappoint restaurant for special occasions.

                                                                              We have been to Bistro du Midi a few times before, but were there on this night for New Year's Eve, when they had a special menu. While the ambiance was festive, I think the menu was perhaps over ambitious for the chef - some kind of odd combinations that did not always succeed. However we had a lovely evening and appreciated the elegance!

                                                                              It was a very good NYE dinner. All the 5 courses were prepared with care and attention to details and the food tasted good. Fillet mignon was excellent. I really enjoyed the foie gras. The waiter was very pleasant, attentive and obtained all the information from the kitchen regarding our dietary restrictions.

                                                                              It was an exceptional meal we did the 7 course tasting. The only thing was they brought it way too fast! When we asked to slow down it was a lot better but we got 3 courses out of 7 ln less than 15 minutes. We will definitely be back

The oysters from Duxbury were great. the only negative is my wife dropped something behind her seat/couch and reached down without looking triggering a pest control trap that caught her finger.
