So disappointed - the restaurant was overcrowded and understaffed. They should not take reservations if they can't support. We were seated at table that was in the way of other tables; I could not slide my seat back and my arm was hitting the wall making it difficult to eat. Did not get service for about 10 minutes after we sat down, and it went south from there.

If you're looking for a place where the food is outstanding and the atmosphere is cozy and professional, just do this. Worth the drive. Make an afternoon of it with the shops on the same street.

I think it’s kind of unfair for me to write a review for our night at this wonderful restaurant. I was honest with my replies, but it was Valentine’s dinner, and they were packed. The food was amazing. The staff were working extremely hard, however, with that many customers, with that high-quality of food, there were some delays. This did not bother me at all, however, I saw other people a little upset. I will definitely want to go back during a normal night that maybe it’s not so busy.

This was our first and last visit to Bistro Maison. It was, without question, the worst dining experience we have ever had. The place was PACKED, like they didn’t know how to stager reservations. It was Valentine’s Day and a prix fixe menu with a salad, pick of an appetizer and main, and a dessert. We got our salad which was a shared bowl of greens, goat cheese and beets. Meh. We sat and sat, then our main course came out, but no appetizers beforehand. Eventually the server came by and I said I never got my glass of wine I ordered or our appetizers. She was apologetic, said the apps would come next and poured me a big glass of wine. Well, the apps never came. And then dessert never came. We were there for 1.5 hours, got barely half our meal, asked for the check and left. The food was overpriced and cold. It was all terrible, would not recommend.

Quality of food is not the same as it was before. Has new owners. Onion soup had mostly bread. Coque o' vin extremely salty. Crab appetizer didn't have much crab in it. The salmon was soggy.

We are locals and this is our favorite restaurant in McMinnville. As always, the food was excellent and we love the ambience. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. My wife had her favorite - wild salmon - and was not disappointed. I had a bean stew with several kinds of meat plus a duck leg and thigh - very nice. We'll be back!
