Announcing Toronto’s inaugural MICHELIN Star restaurants

With the exception of a pandemic-induced pause in 2020, the MICHELIN Guide has been reviewing fine-dining restaurants around the world for over a century — but never in Canada. So the excitement was understandable when the lauded publication announced earlier this year that Vancouver and Toronto would be included in the latest expansion of the guide.

After all that restaurants have endured over the past two years, the fact that fine-dining establishments have returned with the high caliber of service they’re known for is remarkable in and of itself. But a few places stand out from the pack … without further ado, here are first-ever MICHELIN Star selections for Toronto.
