   My wife and I really like this restaurant, and we have been here several times. Mostly, it goes really well. This experience was different. I would characterize it as suboptimal in two dimensions. One was the seating speed. We had to wait twenty minutes to get seated. Now, this may sound trivial (even petty), but one of the main reasons I use OpenTable is so that I don't have to wait. So, process foul. The second was service. Now, we did get great service, but on this occasion, it was uncharacteristically slow. The kitchen also screwed up one order, up charging for a side salad, and then running out of baked potatoes since they were slow to fill the order. Overall, it was a little disappointing, but we would go back and give Blue Crab another chance.

   The food at Blue Crab was very good, as usual. The few things that kept them from an outstanding rating was that my crab legs were overcooked and my father-in-law said his vegetables were not good. Other than that, it was great and we will be back!

   Dined here for the first time on a Saturday night in a party of two. Let me jump right to the conclusion: the food was excellent, some of the best seafood I’ve had in a long time, meanwhile the setting for the meal, the ambience if you will, was modest. The restaurant is in a strip mall, the decor is not that much different from a nice diner, and the lighting is very bright. And yet, the food is elevated and the quality of the fish and its preparation was really good. We had the sea bass and the halibut special. Both were served over risotto. We finished with the Carrot cake and a freshly brewed coffee. So pleasantly surprising.

   Celebrated my birthday today. I did indicate in my reservation that it was my birthday. Unfortunately, no one acknowledged that. Our server was friendly and courteous. Food was good when it came out over an hour later. The delay should be mentioned. My 13 yr old grandson said he wouldn't return on a Friday evening due to the long wait. The food was hot, which I liked. I enjoyed my mocktail. There was grit in my scallop, which is unpleasant. I was looking forward to the snow crab, but did not enjoy them because there was too much tomato sauce drowning them. It made the flesh mushy and lacking texture. Steak n cake, gumbo, and seafood platter were enjoyed.

   The food was mediocre, we were only able to get branch or sandwich or salad. We went on a Sunday afternoon very few people were in there until 2pm when it turned in to a bar! Noisy band blared in your ear. I think they forgot it was Sunday and not Saturday night. We were there with friends and small children, we were not able to hear ourselves talk. The waitress was very polite but it was way over priced.

   Drunken Clams were amazing although we sent back the shrimp appetizer due to being uneatable .

    First time at Blue Crab Grill and it did not disappoint. The drinks and food were excellent. Our server was lovely, accommodating and personable. We forgot a set of keys and she checked to see if we came in o.n a reservation and called us immediately to let us l Le our keys were there. Above and beyond! We will be back for sure!
