   We had a 7 PM reservation. We got there a little early and were seated right away. We ordered drinks and a blackened tuna app and a sampler platter all at the same time. The appetizer took about 15 minutes. As we finished the tuna app, we watched the tables around us that had come in after us get served their food and finish their meal, and we still have not received our sampler platter. After waiting 30 mins after our app came, our server told us they were put in the finishing touches on it and it would be right out. Ten minutes later, the manager came over and said that large parties were backing up the kitchen. Another ten minutes later and we decided just to get our check and leave. Then we were told it was spring break, that was the issue. I wouldn't even be mad about food taking so long if they would just be honest and tell us they forgot to put in the order right or they dropped the ticket or whatever. But hey, they did give us a round of drinks for free, so I guess that makes it ok. The tuna was delicious, and before the lies, the waiter was really nice.

   BLVD Seafood never disappoints. Last night we had the scallops, “white” soup, house salad and blackened grouper. Every bite was delicious. I love that I can count on amazing food and great service in a casual atmosphere where shorts and T-shirt are perfectly acceptable! Keep up the great work!

   Great, only complaint was traditionally cappuccinos usually in a large cup than an espresso.

   The bartender here is wonderful. She makes excellent special mixed drinks from the special drink menu. We love the Blvd Old Fashioned, the Strawberry Sangria, and the Blueberry Lemon Drop martini. The appetizers are just as good as the main courses. The Crab Stuffed Shrimp Bites, and the Shrimp Cocktail are both incredible. I also tried the Jobber gumbo for the first time on this outing, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious. For main courses, I highly recommend the Cedar Plank Salmon, the Cruiser Linguini with shrimp, and the Waterfront Sampler. This is a popular, hopping little place right on the seawall with some of the best seafood in Galveston. This is one of our favorite dining venues on the island.

   Every time is a wonderful experience. The food, drinks, ambience are all wonderful. Seafood is on point and fresh from the oysters Rockefeller and oysters Blvd to the fried fish and shrimp, shrimp tacos, and soft shell crab. And don’t forget the drinks and dessert…all worth indulging in!

   Bien pero no excelente. El mesero muy amable pero el servicio muy tardado. Esperamos muchísimo tiempo desde que ordenamos hasta que nos sirvieron la comida. La comida rica de sabor pero esperábamos más para las reseñas qué tiene.
