   The Boathouse is our go-to when dining in White Rock. The ambience is great, the food is generally very good, and you can’t beat the view. Keith was our server for the meal and he’s always great. Our drinks, bread, appetizer, and mains were served with perfect timing and he’s always friendly and attentive. Thanks Keith!

   10/10 night. We originally booked for a party of 7 however only 4 of us arrived so we were kindly moved to a different table with a better view of the ocean. The entire night was a blast and we were so lucky to have David as our waiter who delightfully entertained us throughout our stay and was just simply a great energy all around. I hope to have him as my waiter the next time I go because he definitely made our nights. The food was absolutely delicious and the menu options were great for accommodating any person’s taste.

   Beautiful spot and food was very good. Unfortunately service was not good. A large birthday party group was also present. We had noticed that tables coming after us were given the complimentary sourdough bread, which we have had on other visits, but did not receive on this visit. We were also still eating our appetizers when our meal came. We commented on this to our server who stated he had been told by his manager to not give bread to some tables due to the large party being there at the same time. He also stated our meals were delivered sooner in order to free up the kitchen space they would be ready for the large party’s orders.

   Ceased salad had no dressing on it, steak was tough and over cooked. Crab legs were over cooked and rubbery

   We went for the Valentine’s Day dinner. We received our appetizers and asked for pepper. I watched the waitress get the petter but took it to the table beside us. So we waited for about 15 minutes for her to come back so she could get us pepper. She finally did so because the pepper came late they brought our dinner before we were finished appetizers. They brought the food back to the kitchen to keep warm. She came back with my wife’s steak which was cooked medium not medium rare as requested. The waitress said is was dark and we probably couldn’t see very good.🤪. We go there every Valentine’s Day but probably not next year.

   Absolutely fantastic location on marine drive , amazing service as always , the food was excellent . We were a group of 4 and had there crab cakes , beet salad and prawns for starters and then the halibut and salmon in mains . Was delicious and very good portion size
