    We dine regularly at the Boathouse and always enjoy it. Not a 5-star visit this time as either the kitchen or the server forgot my husband’s lobster tail and Bernaise sauce and then when he got the Bernaise it was cold. But the mussels with chorizo were excellent, as was my beef short rib. We really enjoy dining there in winter as the lights along the water really enhance the experience. In spite of the small missteps we will keep going back.

    What a lovely evening! Somehow we managed to be seated at the best table, a nice quiet corner table by the window. The service was so fast, we got our appetizers before the drinks came. The set menu had so many great choices. The food was amazing! We ordered a calamari, a shrimp cocktail, beet salads, prime rib, and the black cod. All were done to perfection. To finish we ordered the crème brûlée, and tiramisu.

    3rd year having Christmas dinner here. Only complaint I have is entree is served before finishing starter. This also happened on previous occasions. Everything else was good.

    Wonderful ambience, beautiful view. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Set meal because of Christmas but still plenty of choices and delicious meal. We will definitely go there again!

    Our server Jorge (pronounced Horhay) was outstanding!!! Personable, professional and so efficient the entire time! The food was outstanding! Although it was incredibly busy on Christmas Day evening, the staff was amazing from the hostess to our server!!! The Boathouse in White Rock is somewhere that we would be happy to visit again and again!!! May start a new family tradition of dining out on Christmas Day as it was such an enjoyable experience!

    Exquisite dining with extraordinary service. Enjoyed every moment of the twinkly lights in the trees alongside the ocean and the festive staff serving Traditional Turkey dinner, whilst my daughter enjoyed the kids menu. This was our first Christmas without grandparents and I think this may become 'our place' to celebrate special occasions.
