Chef Michael Preston prepares contemporary Italian fare with the emphasis on simple, fresh ingredients with an exciting twist. Experience the passions of Italy in our casual dining room; on our stunning Tuscan terrace; or in the Wine Room for a more private event.

Our vibrant cuisine perfectly reflects the passions, style, and gusto that is the Italian way of life.

PARKING: Complimentary three hour parking is available in the Indigo lot located behind the restaurant. Entrance to the lot is on 10th Ave SW, across from MEC. Come inside via the back entrance, and register your license plate on the Indigo tablet inside, found in front of the hostess stand.

    We had an early seating as we were heading to the Jubilee Auditorium for a performance. Tatyana, our server, was aware of our time constraints. She was an absolute delight… friendly, efficient, nothing was too much trouble. We did not feel rushed and she kept us on track for time. We are planning to go to the opera in April and we will be back!

    We enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Bonterra and had the loveliest time! Our server was so friendly and remembered us from our visit in September for a birthday celebration, moreover he was very knowledgeable in helping us pick a bottle of wine to pair with the various items we ordered for our meal. I cannot say enough about how delicious the Carbonara was! Overall we had a wonderful experience at Bonterra and will be back.

    I was there in summer on the summer terrace, it was much better and cozy! Inside the restaurant is not very good, the table was broken but we were moved at the request, the price was high as for two 170 for 3 portions of food and drinks.

    Hi Stanislav, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. Valentines day floor setting is an anomaly as we have several 2 tops that are usually not present to accomodate all of the guests that would like to dine with us for their special day. The table we had you at needed slight foot adjustment as the floors in the space are no longer even in a heritage building and can need adjustment with the smallest moves left or right. We are so glad you made us aware as it was fixed up for the next guest within moments. I urge you to try us on an evening that isn't an altered floor plan so you can enjoy the space as it is usually set so you are able to enjoy the beauty and rustic Italian feel that guests have come to love about Bonterra.
