The service was pretty slow. To be fair, the other tables had soooo many questions. It was almost as if this was their first time eating at a restaurant (more than one table too). The food was good, but almost everything could have used a little seasoning. Also, their non-alcoholic drink selection was poor. They did not have iced tea. What restaurant doesn't have iced tea? This one. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to add. Overall, I would probably go back, but there was nothing I ate that felt special.

Absolutely loved our time with David, craft cocktail mixer extraordinaire with the MOST fabulous ingredients from the farm. What a stunning night and the food was sublime. Wow.

Great place, quiet on a Monday night, food was great, filling. I feel like I overpaid for the entire night. Very quiet and full of employees looking at us while we ate. I wish they sat us at a more intimate table in the restaurant.

Overpriced mediocrity. We ordered the fixed priced menu – two appetizers and an entrée for $75 per person. While the appetizers were ok (although the tomato cream soup was more katsup-like than we would have preferred), the entrées (bass and arancini) were surprisingly plain and uninspired. We left most of the entrées untouched. The service was mostly fine although we were seated for a very long time before initially greeted by our server and offered a drink. The restaurant was not very busy so there may have been a mix-up between the wait staff. Once we were ultimately greeted, our server and the other staff were polite and professional. Overall, this Boulder resident will likely not return as the exorbitant prices far out pace the appeal of the food. The Kitchen, Oak and Fourteenth, Jax, Ten Ten, and Salt are all better options.

We had a wonderful evening. The commitment to sustainable sourcing and management is commendable/awesome. A+. The setting, the service, the pacing of the meal and the fresh, farm raised offerings were excellent. The prix fixe menu offered two starters per person and a main, or a starter/main/dessert. The amount of food was too generous and guidance on portion sizes would have been helpful. We enjoyed the starters immensely but they were quite large. The main courses - pork and lamb - were delicious but busy - again substantial and might benefit from a simpler presentation. The bowl of root veggies that came with the mains was yummy but we could not finish it. Overall, a wonderful concept that we support but might need some refining in terms of menu design and portion clarity.

We had a meal in Friday evening and sat in front of the window looking at Pearl St. I had to turn off the fluorescent light illuminating a sign in the window because it was hurting my date’s eyes. Food was exceptional. I wouldn’t order the quail again but the base was quite good. Overall ambience was a hit loud with a 6 or 7 top seated right next to us.
