The food was delicious and quick, however the service was terrible, extremely slow. Trying to get anyone’s attention let alone our waitress was almost impossible. Yet they are happy to charge 15% for poor service. A simple check back after our meals were served or offering the dessert menu would have been appreciated. We did not let this spoil our lunch but it was definitely a talking point!

Venue, service and ambiance was great. Felt like I went back in time to Paris. Great night out with a significant other or a group of friends.

Have visited here more than one but certainly disappointed this time. Ordered beef bourguignon, and what arrived was 3 chunks of chuck beef with gravy, certainly not a beef bourguignon! I asked for some more bread as one of the slices was like a hard doorstep end of a baguette, and the waiter was clearly not impressed, rolling his eyes at the audacity of someone daring to request another piece of bread!! Honestly, some of the staff need to get off their high horse!! Such a beautiful building, full of character but sadly felt like a school dining hall, no ambience, just clattering of dishes and cutlery from diners and waiters running around.

Really enjoyed our time at Zédel, my cousin was visiting from NYC, she grew up in France and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was fantastic, we had a waiter who was so good.

Très belle brasserie à l'ambiance "années 30".service rapide et efficace.carte variée.musiciens sur place qui rend l'atmosphère très agréable.

Lovely experience and we will certainly return. The dining room is very energetic, so if you are after a quiet night out, this is not the venue for you. The service was very attentive, and the food on the Price Fix good - although I would not describe Chopped Steak Americain as a steak necessarily - more like a cooked minced meat portion. However, great value for money, and worth a visit!

Always a pleasure to lunch at Zedel. The setting is opulent, the service excellent and the delicious "prix fixe" option outstanding value in the heart of Piccadilly.

The food was average. The walnuts that came with the endives salad were oddly clumped together - by some pre-packaged binding agent maybe? Indifferent £11 glass of pinot noir, but the cheaper house red was fine. Ambiance: stylish but very noisy. Full marks for service.
