    Food was very good. The portions were a little small for the price, but the taste of everything was great! Service was pretty good, but they may be a little short staffed - we were there on Saturday night and our waitress was handling a number of tables. Overall, a good choice!

    Sorry to say this time the food was not as good as all of our other experiences. The special of steak frites was a strip which was tough and not as favorable as we expected it to be. Service was good as always.

    Terrific food and service. We caught them during Restaurant Week and had shrimp and grits and some excellent seafood risotto.

    Our guests really enjoyed the beef tenderloin with potatoes and asparagus was excellent along with the tuna tartare. The lemon martini was a favorite of our guest. The service was great as in our previous visits.

    I had the tuna special for dinner and it was excellent!!! Rare tuna seared to perfection. Love Breakwater. Favorite place to dine in downtown Beaufort.
