   The worst food I have had In a local restaurant. Every meal was overrated to the point of being inedible. The fries were all so salty that nobody could eat them and two of the party could not eat the smash burgers because they also were so salty The pizza was swimming in oil. Poor value for one Won't go back.

   Hostess stand was on the ball integrating walk-ins while honoring their reservations. Waitress was magnificent.

   The girls love to make their own pizza. It is fun for them. The kids meal comes with ice cream which is a bonus. The meatballs were very good, so were the fries. We enjoy going there.

   Our Valentine's Day experience at Brick Wood-Fired Bistro was a perfect blend of culinary excellence and romantic vibes. The evening’s special menu was as sophisticated and thoughtful as it was delicious. Staff was very friendly and well versed on each new offering. The cocktail selections were immaculate: Brick’s bar staff is top notch. We had a wonderful experience at Brick and Highly recommend this restaurant for a creative and delicious evening out.

   Did not know until the late night before that their menu would be changed. So that should have been bold text when we made a reservation. Otherwise food was excellent. Steak/Crab was very good. Wish they had it every time.

   This was my second time going to Brick (the last time was over 7 years ago). Everything was nice and our waitress was amazing. The only issue is that my friend stated her salad dressing was very salty. I will be back very soon. Thank you Brick!

   Food was great. Our server, Kaylee was very attentive. My husband remarked how much he appreciates dishes being cleared from the table when you’re finished eating.

   The Brick is one of my favorite restaurants in southern half of Calvert County as the food quality, preparation, and plating is always exceptional. I usually come here for dinner at least once a month but with lots going on during the recent holidays, I hadn't been in since before Thanksgiving...so I was surprised to see that there weren't any new special entrees being offered (in fact their only special offering was a single option for the entire "winter season" of beef medallions--not exactly an imaginative addition). I was also surprised at the rise in entree pricing...everything seemed significantly more expensive than I remembered. Still, I did really enjoy my familiar order of their signature dish "Chicken under a Brick." Service was good enough (prompt in taking order & prompt in serving meal) but table clearing was slow, table left cluttered for awhile...and the restaurant overall was slow. Could just be post-holidays slowdown or could be price increases at the same time they're cutting back on creative entree options.

    We stopped in for lunch while passing through the area. The atmosphere was typical for a sports pub; screens all around and a lively bar presence with NFL fans gathered for the game and one fan yelling every few minutes. The menu deviates from the typical pub food though with some upscale offerings. However, I was disappointed by the chicken pesto pasta which for me, while had a good pesto sauce, was very skimpy on chicken and the pasta was undercooked, even for pasta intended to be al dente. This could be a better meal if more generous, but it was not worth $22. My wife enjoyed the French toast after passing on the apple crisp salad which would have cost $31 with salmon; again not worth the price. The service was good.
