A delicious brunch and so nice to see the musicians. They went table to table and took requests. The place is beautiful. It was a leisurely brunch (took 2 hours) with service on the slow side. Make sure you aren’t in a rush. The food was fantastic! Everyone in our party gobbled up their entrees and we all split the king cake for dessert. It is New Orleans after all.

This is a very nice restaurant. I think the “jazz” music was not really what I was expecting. It was a nice live trio but they only went table to table. The food, ambiance, and wait staff were great!

Reservations were at 8:45 , Didn’t sit until 30 minutes later, didn’t get any complimentary bread until we asked. they didn’t serve us until 10:30 the restaurant was almost closing. Food was worth the wait though

I scheduled a valentines dinner with my fiancée at 8pm i check in at 8:02 after i called ahead about the parade route detouring us. They said it was fine and it would be a minute. After 30 minutes of 3 couples sitting and waiting to be seated there were multiple large groups 5+ that were almost 2 hours late for their reservation and they walked right in and sat down. After 1hr we were finally seated which made no sense since the entire section was open with 2 and 4 tops. After seating we waited another 45 minutes for someone to take our drink and appetizer orders those did come out in about 15-20 minutes the staff was seeming to try but food seemed to be slowing everything down. Despite the staffs best efforts tho myself and 3 other men in couples had to get up to go find wait staff to order anything else. I then waited another 1hr for out steaks which were OK. After 3 hours of this dribble of a service I had to track down staff again to ask for a check and a box, they asked if I wanted them to do it and all I could express was whatever is faster. I left a tip since the wait staff were nice and courteous but the receptionist clearly were overwhelmed and or understaffed swell as whatever God awful things happened in the kitchen

Very unremarkable experience. Beautiful restaurant, staff was slow without any personality. Food was mediocre and pricey. This was not a good experience. Recommend Galatoire’s, arnauds and Antoine’s…the other grand dame restaurants above Broussard’s.

We went for dinner on Valentine's Day . We were given a warm greeting by the hostess who took us by a more formal dinning room filled with beautiful chandeliers to the back of the resturant which was less formal and had a rustic but elegant charm. The hostess said it was the old horse stables. The only issue we had was the appetizer. I am lactose intolerant and ordered the wedge salad and substituted a vingerette dressing for the blue cheese. They gave me the vingerette dressing but sprinkled it with blue cheese! Otherwise the main course were delicious! I had the red fish and my husband had the bar-b-q shrimp which he said was the best he ever had.

First of all, the atmosphere was perfect for a Valentines Dinner. The service was fantastic, and the food....best crab cakes I've ever eaten. The filet mignon was absolutely mouth watering and melt in your mouth. The Brussel Sprouts were remarkable too. A wonderful evening and a very nice place. I highly recommend it!!

Sadly, the oysters had sand / grit in them that immediately turned me off. The bread was stale and cold and the butter was solid pucks out of the fridge. The service was great and they were very apologetic, there just wasn’t much left to recover after the bread and oysters failed to meet expectation. Steak and potatoes were good.

Lovely dinner. Keith provided great service. The food was delicious. Turtle soup, crab cake, sautéed drum and green beans. Beautiful restaurant full of history. The host took us on a small tour of the dining rooms and courtyard. We will recommend to others and return for another meal!
