Both Bub City and Joe’s Live offer event and party options for groups ranging from eight to 1,500 guests. From corporate dinners and bachelorette parties to VIP experiences in one of the private rooms that overlook the Joe’s stage, the space offers a wide variety of entertainment for groups. In addition to in-restaurant event capabilities, Bub City also provides off-site catering and rents out “The Rig,” a mobile barbecue trailer that brings the barbecue experience right to guests’ doors.

Love the idea of the brisket nachos. They did not deliver on the overall coverage of cheese and brisket. Taste was great and the drink were wonderful. I love the atmosphere. Nice Texas vibe.

Price for food wasn’t bad. Sat down right away (at reservation time) as soon as we walked in. Ambiance is good. Will go again.

Fantastic food. Laid back place with a fantastic selection of bourbon. Love this place and we have returned here often.

really chill spot, came here for a birthday dinner and the service was excellent. great food as well. this is the second time i’ve visited and i would definitely come again!

I have celiacs and they are always so good about explaining what is safe for me to eat. Service was fast despite the Sunday night crowd. Have the brisket nachos. Heavenly

I eat at this restaurant quite often….However, last night (Valentine’s Day) the restaurant was packed and I received some of the best service I have ever gotten there!! Danalia was our server and she was tremendous! The entire staff ran like a well oiled machine! Not one of the managers were standing around….all of them were running food, bussing tables, wiping up the floor….in short, leading by example!! It was such a pleasure dining there and witnessing was great service looked like. WELL DONE!

This was my forth time here and the menu seemed much smaller than the last time I was there. Really not a lot of choices and my first two choices were sold out… this was at 7:00. Food was fine. Server was very nice and attentive. Overall though, pretty disappointing and I don’t think I would go back from the price.

We had a group of 10 at Bub City, and overall, the experience was underwhelming. The burnt ends were half fat and gristly, and the brisket was a lower-grade cut. The chicken sandwich was just okay, but the salmon was a highlight. On the plus side, the service and drinks were great. The most disappointing part? Bub City didn’t accept Lettuce Entertain You rewards on a Saturday night, even though their River North location does. Definitely not what we expected.
