    Ribs and eggplant dishes were great. General Tso dumplings were tasty but dough was on thick side. The place was very busy and service was delayed a bit. Noisy cause it’s a hot spot! Food was the highlight. All food was served hot and fresh. Beautiful too. We’ll be back.

    The food was delicious. we were a party of 11 and shared everything and ordered tons of different appetizers, main courses, deserts and everything was delicious. Can't wait to come back

    Tonight was our 7 year anniversary. While coming here is not just for special occasion, we love dim sum and our options were great. Service was great. Thank you for a great night.

    It was my wife’s birthday and we were looking forward to a great dining experience, as we have been here many times and is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. The table was great but our waiter (Anish) ruined night night. He made several comments about my wife’s age (joking around and guessing her age). Then, made a comment joking about how we ordered the same thing. On top of it, I made a request to have a vegan dessert served as a surprise at the end of dinner. He asked if we wanted any dessert then I told him I had requested a vegan dessert. He said he knew that already. I just don’t know why he would have asked and not just brought it out as I requested. THEN, he brought me the little receipt with my requests on it to show me how they receive the requests. I have no idea why anyone would do that. Just ridiculous and didn’t make any sense. So my wife ended up not being surprised and felt uncomfortable the whole time. The waiters here are usually very professional and don’t say anything inappropriate but this experience completely changed how we feel about Buddakan. Horrible this had to be our experience on my wife’s Birthday.

    The service was wonderful. I found the food didn’t live up to the hype but I may be a little biased because we live in S.F. where we have a lot of great Asian food.
