   We’re in NYC to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and love to watch Alex on the numerous shows she’s competing on; judging; or hosting. The service was absolutely the best we have ever had (and since we have been in 47 states & 16 Countries) I believe that is remarkable. Food was delicious, perfectly prepared and seasoned, loved the decor and while I felt very underdressed (we had been out sightseeing all day and didn’t have time to dash back to our Airbnb to change) I never felt less than or looked down upon as we have in other upscale restaurants around the world when we have shown up for reservations without time to change into dinner attire. The only negative is that I do have food allergies and I asked for a side to be substitutes and was told that sides couldn’t. Which no big deal I just let my husband have that side. (I did not tell the waiter about my allergies in his defense). Overall I would definitely recommend anyone to experience Butter on their next trip to NYC and to be ready for an amazing meal!

   Hadn’t been in years. Seems it has not changed much in fact it ms a bit warn and rough around the edges. Our table was bubbling and sticky. Kinda feels dirty inside..

   Jasmine was the absolute sweetest server!! Very kind and attentive. This was our first time at Butter and it was exquisite. The food was impeccable. The restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. It didn’t even feel like you were in the heart of New York City. It’s like you were transplanted to a rustic restaurant and the food. I can’t say enough good things about it. The drinks were delicious. The price was outstanding. This will definitely be one of our new spots when we visit New York .

   I love the restaurant and the ambience. My only complaint is that I booked a reservation and when I arrived, they asked me if the bar was OK. I said yes. However, they didn’t lead me to the bar. They simply pointed me in the right direction and when I got there , there was no place to sit and I had to wait 15 minutes for people to get seated at the table before I could have a place to sit to eat. I wonder then why did I bother to make a reservation?

   Our third time visiting Butter restaurant and always had an excellent experience, but this visit our waiter "Freddy" seemed to be overwhelmed. He "charged " us for two drinks that we did not have and when we questioned the charge he said they were drinks from another table that he accidentally put on our bill (over the years we've found this is a scam that wait staff do to increase the bill for more tip, so we always double check the bill.) We also enjoy drinks with dinner but the one tequila drink we did order was so strong we definitely did not want a second one. This for sure was not the best experience we have had at Butter, but like most, people do have bad days. Food was very good, but very disappointed in the service and so called mistakes made at the bar and on the bill make me question another visit.

   We loved everything about our Butter experience! We shared several apps— the Parker house rolls, a Brie and mushroom tart and a cavatelli pasta— all delicious. The dinner portions were generous and divine. We will return!

   We truly enjoyed our dinner at Butter. My aunt had desired to eat here, due to her love of the chef. We arrived and were quickly seated for our reservation. We tried everything from the mac n cheese gnocchi, the rolls (the butter of course, delicious), the pork chops, and the short ribs. The cocktails were delicious and service was exceptional. It was then a short walk over to see the Rockettes to continue our fun evening out.

   The food and service were great. The tables were tall and not comfortable to sit at. There were also a lot of missing finishing touches for the expense.

    Have family in from Ireland and so we made a reservation for 5:45 for 5 people with various tastes in food. We had the most delightful patient waitress great disposition, happy to be there !!! That says a lot right there. The girls had a special cocktail that they just loved, we had a few questions about the menu and our waitress was confident in her answers ! Also a huge plus. We had just excellent service, delicious food a warm comfortable atmosphere and it restored our faith in good service ! A time when people were happy to be at work and confident in the food they were delivering ! I think that all shows a great Team effort ! Their was a younger hostess that seemed to miss the memo, but we didn’t let her energy bring us down
