Always great food. Crispy shrimp, hummus, runner beans, and short rib were really good. Fried chicken was delicious but the batter was a little too heavy. But otherwise flavours were delicious. Great service - they were just slow on drinks so drinks came after the first course had been served and then we ordered drinks with dessert as well and drinks came after we were halfway through dessert. Loud in the restaurant so sometimes tough to hear. But overall I’ve been to Byblos many times and food and service is consistently very good.

Visited December 6, 2024. When making the reservation on-line I indicated that we would be celebrating a birthday. When we were seated, our server, Jordan, confirmed that it was my guest's birthday. The food and service were excellent. After we had finished eating, our server brought us a serving of pomegranate sorbet to share. We presumed, since we had not ordered it, that the sorbet was complimentary as an acknowledgement of the birthday. After arriving home I had a closer look at our check and found that we were charged for the sorbet. This was a surprise. I contacted Byblos but have had no response to my email. It is not the cost I question but the fact that we did not order the dessert yet were charged for it. Curious to know if this is usual practice with the restaurant.

The space is beautiful and a great time, the food is as expected but nothing mind blowing. The service was poor and the waiter was somewhat rude, not the best for the price point of the place.
