    There is a refurbishment going on at the moment but in the actual restaurant itself it is absolutely fine. Only notice it in the entrance/way in. New booking system is great. Food good, prices reasonable and staff were great. Commented to husband on return home how nice it was to have staff who were really friendly and seemed happy at work ! All in all a lovely lunch out !

    We had a few nights stay at Byfords. Could not fault a thing. Plenty of variety at breakfast & dinner. Afternoon tea was delicious and plenty of too. All the dishes we had were good size and tasty.

    Lovely greeting and shown to our table with food and drinks menu. Excellent choice of food and we chose chicken supreme. The taste was phenomenal. Using our Norfolk passport gave us 10% discount. Can't wait to go back again.

    The food was delicious and the amount of cakes on offer during the Extravagant Afternoon Tea was out of this world! The staff were all welcoming and could not have been more accommodating (Especially for those of us that don't drink tea!) Would highly recommend.

    Dinner at Byfords was fabulous. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was enjoying themselves. Would absolutely recommend the cauliflower to start, it was so delicious. Will be back soon.

    Had a lovely afternoon tea today. Very friendly service, 2 lots of sandwiches and 2 lots of tea. Everything freshly prepared and nicely presented.

    Excellent service from Catherine and Hetty at Byfords, Great selection of food that is reasonably priced especially with the Norfolk Pass. Food as always was superb.

    Average at best I’m afraid. Awkward booth table by the hosting station and overlooked by the waiters station literally talking about everything right next to us. Our bill was mixed up with the adjacent tables, I pointed this out and was totally ignored. Appeared to be no manager on duty. Poor atmosphere, not a single candle that I could see. One waiter very good, the other stunk of BO. The customer appeared to be a nuisance on Valentines Night which was a shame. Nothing about it would encourage you to return.
