   Hoped to have a quiet dinner (at our once a month outing) but we were placed in the covered patio near a family of small children (a few behaved well, other ones - not so much). Clearly a patron with his family whom the staff knew. A couple near us asked to be reseated elsewhere- we should have done the same. Lesson learned. Food was very good and staff were very attentive though.

   We wanted to try somewhere different for our anniversary. Wanted somewhere quiet and with good food. All I can say is the food was outstanding, and we were able to have a conversation without raising our voices. Service was very good, attentive without hovering too much. This may become one of our favorite places.

   They were kind to let us come before our scheduled reservation. (They were not that busy). We were seated inside at a table for 2 which was fine. We were never asked if we wanted a drink or glass of wine. Water, bread, olive oil, and vinegar were brought to our table. Menus were already on the table. Our food order was promptly taken. During ordering, I had asked for gluten free preparation, (acknowledging that it was an Italian restaurant but requested no croutons). The ordered appetizer (for two) was brought to the table without plates. I used my bread plate to serve myself. My Salata de Salmone was tasty but in very small portions ($22). I would guess a 1.5 oz piece of Salmon and a cup of mixed greens with olive oil only added. My husband had a nice sized Rigatoni pasta dish which he enjoyed. When I made the reservation, I mistakenly assumed the Mansion would allow a tour or walk through since it was a feature in the advertising. I disappointedly was incorrect. We won’t be recommending or returning. It did not “Wow” us as I had hoped.

   Started with excellent Manhattan & Rombauer sb as cocktails. The Ca Bianca salads were very good as expected. The chicken in pastry and the petrale sole piccata were exactly what we wanted and both were delicious. Shared the strudel with vanilla ice cream to top off the meal. Dishes ordered were the best choices. Service was attentive, friendly and above all professional, although it was quite evident they were being overworked from the huge loud parties going on elsewhere in the restaurant. Last time we came to Ca Bianca the atmosphere was calm and conducive to a relatively quiet meal, but the loud noise/conversations was a bit of a change. Nonetheless, food & service was excellent & we applaud the staff. We noticed that some diners opted for outdoor dining where it was more quiet & relaxed. The bar area was also quiet and food can be ordered there too.

    Il cibo e eccezionale! Marco and Karin deliver every time! Excellent Funghi and Ceasar salad today. The food is always consistent and the long time staff friendly and quietly observant of one's needs. Best Italian food in Santa Rosa offered in a warm and welcoming home-like enviorment.
