   This place is a gem. I loved the ambience, with soft yellow lighting. I appreciated the food very much. Especially the schnitzel. The beer selection and cocktail selection were also very good. This was the perfect place to eat before seeing a room in the castle at the Folger.

   Cafe Berlin is the best place in the DC area for German food. We were celebrating two birthdays and were not disappointed.

   Sonys was delightful; the dinner from the feta appetizer, to sauerbraten entree, then finishing with an apple strudel and home made cream was delicious!

   Always an enjoyable experience. Food is delicious, well prepared and ample. Server is attentive, courteous and knowledgeable

   Enjoyed everything! If you want to order the apple strudel, order it at the beginning of your meal as it takes 30-40 minutes to make.

   My girlfriend and I are in town for our anniversary. This came as a recommendation from our Airbnb host. So I figured we’d give it a shot. Food was great. Tricks were great. Service was amazing. We definitely come back.

    This is a great restaurant with an authentic taste of Germany with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. From the moment we stepped inside we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming European-style ambiance that makes us feel welcome. The menu offers a good selection of traditional German dishes, from hearty bratwurst and schnitzel to delicious potato pancakes and freshly baked pretzels. The flavors are rich and authentic, and the ingredients taste fresh and high-quality. We tried the sauerkraut balle and the stroganoff were fantastic! Also, the selection of German beers and specialty drinks added to the experience, making it a great spot for dining. The service was friendly and attentive and ensured a great dining experience.
