Café des Artistes offers different magical and pleasant areas:
·Interior Garden: Comfortable air conditioned room, it offers views of the exterior garden and waterfall, the perfect setting for special occasions or private events.
·Exuberant Exterior: Magical and exotic outdoor spaces surrounded by lush vegetation, generating an exclusive, romantic and elegant atmosphere under the stars with candlelight (available from NOV-MAY).

    Must do for your trip to PV! EXQUISITE food, service and experience! INCREDIBLE atmosphere and the mariachis and roving violinist with the piano player were EXCEPTIONAL! Every morsel was a taste explosion! The Burgundy wine was perfectly paired by the resident Som! If you don’t go here while in PV, you were NEVER in PV!!!!

    We were excited to experience this restaurant but from the moment we arrived we were rushed through. Hoping to enjoy an appetizer and then order our meal, we were told we are really busy so you need to order everything now. We started with a martini and said we would order a bottle of wine afterward but they insisted we order up front and then proceeded to open the bottle and ask we taste it at the same time as the martini’s were delivered. When asked to speak to the manager, his response was the same. We are really busy tonight yet there were many empty tables. Very disappointing for price point.

    We had a nice bottle of white wine and the full tasting menu. It was very delicious and the wait staff were very attentive to our requests. This is about our sixth visit over 15 years and the decor is now very upscale. Staff was smiling and plentiful and the fellow diners seemed as content as we were. Delicious and we highly recommend.

    The garden is gorgeous. We were immersed in the scenery and we felt transported to another world. We had the six course tasting menu paired with the wine and it was amazing. A perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. Dinner was 3 hours and a lovely, romantic way to spend a date night.

    This is always our very special restaurant when we come to Puerto Vallarta. Food, service, ambiance…it has it all.

    Our party of three had a memorable dinner. We decided to have the tasting menu. The vegan member of our group was able to have a vegan version of the tasting menu. For all of us, each course was excellent. The wine pairing was also very well matched to the dishes. It was a lovely evening so we asked to be seated outside in the terraced tropical garden which was magical. So, Food: Excellent, Service: Excellent, Atmosphere: Excellent, Noise Level: Quiet, Cost: Very Expensive. Highly recommended.

    Wonderful environment _dining in a beautiful tropical garden. Service was attentive and sommelier picked excellent wines. My partner had the fixed 5 course meal and it was excellent. My lamb was less so. Great place for a special occassion

    We had a great meal. Food was good and ambience excellent once we got outside. Service always attentive but relaxing. Would definitely recommend. One of the best dinners we had on our vacation.

    While eating their Tuna Tartar & wonderful Spicy Martini, after about 15 min I started feeling woozy, and having major nausea, dizziness and flush. I brought the issue up with the manager at the time and he suggested it could not be his fish because he "checked" and it was very fresh. I suggested perhaps there was some contamination of some sort as I eat Tuna Tartar regularly - but he denied this. I had to rush out to get to the hospital, however not until he was insistent that I pay for the bill including charging for the Tuna. I was surprised but nonetheless I agreed. At the hospital they confirmed I had received 'Scombroid Poisoning' possibly due to improper storage of the tuna. I have to say, honestly had the manager been more accomodating or concerned about my state I would give this place a decent rating, but the service level really let me down. As I was leaving the server was very concerned that I leave him an appropriate tip! Seriously? How out of touch can you be with a guests' experience... Don't recommend going near the Tuna tartar in any case. Otherwise not much to say as I didn't make it any further into the meal...
