Situé à côté de l'hôtel Willard InterContinental, Café du Parc propose une cuisine classique française de type bistro dont les prix modérés vont de 8$ à 35$ pour le déjeuner, le dîner, les collations d'après-midi, le souper ou les mets pour emporter. Avec des plats tels que les moules marinières et son décor simple et sophistiqué, Café du Parc incarne l'expérience de bistrot classique et les plaisirs de la gastronomie décontractée. Serge Devesa, le nouveau chef du Willard InterContinental, puise dans ses connaissances élargies des traditions culinaires françaises et son expérience internationale afin de façonner et définir le menu chez Café du Parc. Selon le chef Serge, il faut résister aux raccourcis modernes et l'utilisation de produits frais locaux et de techniques de cuisine traditionnelle sont essentielles.

Extremely slow service. Had to return the steak since it was not cooked properly. Nice server but poorly organized back end.

Overall, it is a nice place with good food and a great location, perfect for business meetings. However, I had to take off points due to the noise issue. We were the only group on the second floor and came for a business lunch, intending to discuss important matters. Unfortunately, in the middle of our lunch, the waitstaff started sorting utensils loudly right next to our table. It became so noisy that we could hardly hear each other, making it difficult to hold a conversation. What made it more frustrating was that the staff did not even try to be quieter, despite clearly seeing that we were having a discussion. I hope they will be more attentive to their customers in the future after reading this review.

The good - our server was polite and checked on our drinks and water glasses regularly. Our cocktails were tasty if not overpriced. The not so good - yes, it’s Washington, DC where everything is expensive. But this food was expensive and not that good. Sea Scallops were small, with four pieces, three potato gnocchi and two onions and a small portion of a peas and carrots melody for $38. The serving would have made a large appetizer but certainly was not an entree. Same for the steak fritte and the chicken breast. Seriously overpriced given the size of the portions and just not that great with regard taste and overall quality. Very disappointing as this restaurant is within the iconic and historic Willard Intercontinental Hotel and does not represent the wonderfulness and grandeur of the hotel. There are MANY restaurants within walking distance to the Willard. Skip Cafe Du Parc and eat somewhere else.

Perfect for lunch! Fast and the food is fantastic. I had the tuna nicoise and it was the best I’ve had. One note, it’s seared rare tuna. I thought it would be good canned tuna. Anyway, great but wanted to give a heads up. As expected, the fries were exceptionally tasty. Perfect with white wine!

Delicious food and very accommodating with dietary restrictions. French fries were top notch. The staff clearing the tables was so polite.

Very nice place and location, food was only o.k. to good, be ready for a lot of butter, and I had the branzino special. Crab cake starter was good, also lots of butter in the chicken and mashed potatoes.

Service was poor, food was very good. The location in the beautiful Willard close to the White House is fantastic.

Decent. The Filet was aggressively average, lack of seasoning and a tad on the cold side. The service left something to be desired. Nice enough people nevertheless.
