Cafe Gabbiano is a casual fine dining restaurant in Sarasota Fl (Siesta Key). We source local ingredients and have a great blend of classic and modern Italian dishes. At Cafe Gabbiano everything is made to order as we want each dish to be fresh. All of our sauces and pastas are homemade.

Cafe Gabbiano is a 4,000 sqft facility that offers intimate dining as well as larger rooms to host special occasions such as beach weddings and rehearsal dinners. We have an extensive wine list, signature crafted cocktails and a great beer list. We are open daily from 5 PM to 10 PM with Happy Hour 5 PM to 6:30 PM at the bar.

Excellent food, service and staff! We had the grouper special and the chicken Milanese which were both excellent with a side of risotto and seasonal vegetables! Desert was a limoncello tartufo ball! Just topped off the meal beautifully! Wine choices were excellent. Highly recommend

We had an excellent meal as we were a mix of adults and kids. Our waitress, Jessica was wonderful and very accommodating. Everyone really enjoyed the drinks, the bread, the salads, and the main course.

Veal chop, filet mignon and pollo mamma lucia were all great. The food was matched by wonderful friendly and professional service by Ricco. Couldn't be better, especially on a holiday.

Our server was awesome and our drinks were fantastic. The rib steak was very tough and not worth the money. It was Christmas day and I didn't want to make a fuss about the dinner because they had us on a 1.5 hour time limit because they overbooked the restaurant.

Always amazing! Excellent food. Great service. Extensive wine list including many wines by the glass. The espresso martinis are fantastic and be sure to save room for the chocolate lava cake for dessert!

We went for Christmas dinner. The service was spot on and the food was great. Many places have issues on a holiday with either service or a special menu that is disappointing, but NOT Café Gabbiano. We have had several holiday dinners there and they have all been superb. Hats off to a wonderful restaurant.

Upon entering at 2:15 we were told we had to be out by 4. Staff more concerned about $$$$ turnaround time than service. First and last time we’ll be there. Not worth the drive from Venice. The famous gnocchi touted in their ads not available on Christmas.

Hostess seated us and the 1st thing she said was we needed to be outa of there no later than 6:15, we felt so warm and fuzzy by that greeting. Appetizers just ok. Husband ordered veal, came out looking gray and soupy. He asked for a refire came out the same. I had ordered the lobster ravioli, pasta was thick and goopy, lobster (what little bit there was) chewed like a rubber band. We hadn’t been there in 20 years (yes I know new owners) but just as horrible as before. We are locals and won’t ever go back….have at it tourists
