It was the desire to share our Sicilian heritage and Sicilian cuisine that prompted the family to buy an older neighborhood diner and create a new, warm, comfortable family ristoranté in Little Italy, “Café Gia Ristoranté.” We have strived very hard to recreate a Sicilian bistro, a place where one feels like they are in Sicily while dining. The people working here were lovely. Our experience was that as we were eating our salads our entrees were delivered to the table. One server whisked away my husband's salad before he was quite finished with it. Never experienced this in a restaurant before. Then we were chatting as we ate our entrees and a server wanted to box up our remaining food. We just felt rushed. The food was very rich and too much salt for our tastes but that is subjective. Hope they can improve on the timing from kitchen to table and allow people more time to eat as again the staff there were very nice and the restaurant itself is very cozy and quaint. Cheers.

Food was good, but overall average for little Italy. Service as very good. Restaurant is small and can feel a little cramped. Sitting too close to main door in winter subjected to cold blast whenever someone opens the door. Food cam out in timely fashion and appropriate temp.

A great way to end a day trip to Baltimore. The food was excellent and the service was equally as good. I am glad that we had a reservation because the place is small but the atmosphere is great.

Food was great. Beautiful, quiet Italian get away. If I had an Italian kitchen it would be mirrored from Gia’s.

This was such a cute, quaint little Italian restaurant. I’m in town for a work conference and it’s within walking distance of the hotel. The food was delicious and everyone I went with loved their meal choices. They do no separate checks, which we didn’t know prior to dining but was fine with us. I know that can be a little bit of a down side for some.

My mom and I came here Saturday night after axe throwing in Canton. Our reservation was for 7 but we arrived at 640 and were sat right away! It is a small restaurant so you’d 100% need a reservation. Our server, Kirk was amazing and so kind. Every single menu item was delicious. Everything is homemade including the noodles and sauce. We had the grilled Caesar, meatballs, linguini with clams, lasagna and tiramisu. Would happily come back next time I am in Baltimore!
