Service was superb compared to last time we were there several years ago. Tatiana was extremely timely and friendly. Food was good, but not great for price. However, location, ambience and service will bring us back again.

I have been dining at Cafe Normandie since I was a midshipman (an early female) at the Naval Academy. I now live in Annapolis and this is one of my truly favorites. Do not miss the escargot !

There was only one server we saw tending to the entire downstairs floor with no manager or owner in sight as she was also making the drinks for her tables and uncorking the wine. She was absolutely amazing!!!!! Having been to France, my crepe tasted nothing like it. It was more so like a soggy, eggy quesadilla. Wine and cocktails were delicious and the ambiance was ideal for our date night. I just wish we didn't see servers in the weeds with no support from management. They should have been doing something on the floor. The food was edible but definitely wouldn't go again if I wanted crepes.

As locals, we have adopted Cafe Normandie as a regular night out. It is relatively small, a little gem of a charming establishment, owned and personally managed by its chef, Jean Louis. Friday evenings are popular, so it was busy on our most recent visit. We had an excellent house-made duck mousse for our starter. We shared it, as we have learned that their portions are generous. My spouse had her favorite entree, trout almondine, while I stayed with my favorite, a crepe Annapolis. This dish contains scallops and shrimp, among other seafood, in a lobster-themed sauce, served in a once-folded Normandie-style crepe. These are the real deal, large in diameter, and very thin. (They are made by street vendors in Normandie, France, fascinating to watch.) We are looking forward to our next visit.

I have eaten here many times over the last 2 years. I am never disappointed. The food is the best French food I’ve ever had & the ambiance is very quiet, cozy & quaint. It is certainly worth the price you pay.

The food was very good with prompt service. Cocktail service was also on par. My wife and I both ordered off the secondary “specials” menu and were not disappointed. They do charge $4 for 4 slices of bread albeit it was delicious bread. My table was by the front door and it was a cold evening so every time the door was opened I got a blast of cold air on my back. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely go back.
