Food was good. Service though was rather slow and unattentive. A lot of noise from crockery being placed in storeage bins near our tyable.

Very average/below average food and pretty hefty price tags. Standard chain eating I guess, but I think middle market chains like this might need a review of strategy as we move into tighter economic times. You could spend the same in an excellent independent with quality ingredients...

5 adults and 2 toddlers for brunch. Coffees were fine albeit on the cold side. Service was ok with the first person who seated us and took our order but distinctly lacking thereafter. Food arrived lukewarm in v small portions (we eat regularly at Cafe Rouge just not the Greenwich branch so know this not to be the norm). One person’s food was served a while after everyone else’s. Would have rated higher if we’d been offered more drinks at some point or brought water the first time we asked for it. For those visiting with little ones, baby change is only in ladies though they accept men will need access to change babies nappies. The changing pull down table is v high! But otherwise clean and fine to use. When I was walking back to the table (8 months pregnant) carrying my toddler a member of staff barged past me without an apology which I thought was unnecessary. It’s a big restaurant and wasn’t particularly busy then though it had started filling up as we left. Overall the experience was ok. Next time we do brunch in Greenwich I’d be inclined to visit an alternative spot though for a more relaxing enjoyable experience.

You know what you get with Cafe Rouge. We wanted an early evening meal pre cinema. Staff attentive and friendly. Food not exceptional but tasty and sufficient. Good vfm.

The service wasn't bad but the food wasn't great and we waited ages for our food to be served and they didn't remember one persons food, but when he finally got his food they didn't charge him for it. The prices was reasonable, but I wouldn't rush back there.

After a walk from Greenwich to the Thames Barrier, and back, in the cold and rain, this was the perfect place for a late, late lunch. Very cosy, with a cheerful and helpful waiter. Crab starter was superb - wish I'd ordered that [I think my husband wishes that too, and he was left with than less than half......] Duck: perfectly prepared, with excellent, very garlicky Dauphinoise potatoes. Friends' steak frites were also great - that's a very reliable dish here. No space for puddings - we'll stay even longer next time.

Very pleased with the service at a busy Saturday lunchtime with many people arriving at the same time due to a downpour. Food was of a good standard and was served in good time ,as were drinks. Exceptional value for money when using Gourmet Society card ( yes at the weekend !).
