   Wonderful cozy atmosphere in a homey setting. Patient and friendly staff, prompt knowledgeable service and great food. We will continue return to this Ann Arbor landmark every time we are in town!

   Our dinners of branzino and the penne-chianti were superb. Server James was attentive in his anticipation of our needs; an excellent job. The hostess seated us two very thoughtfully in a spot removed from the larger parties, adding to our pleasure in an intimate and quiet dinner. The crafted manhattans were nearly as good as my own creation (high praise!?) All-in-all, our dinner was a delight for anyone in need of a pleasurable meal out. We loved it. We will be back.

   We enjoyed the Valentine’s menu, especially the fig and Stilton & braised carrots starters and the Cid special! James was super attentive and we’re glad he works for Zola! Nice to see him these past several years taking care of us.

   Sunday morning brunch was excellent! Blood orange mimosas were not only beautiful they were delicious. Don’t miss out on the bagel-we shared this as an appetizer and the veggies and cream cheese made it a crowd pleaser. Will return next time we’re in town.

   We had a girls night out at Cafe Zola during Ann Arbor restaurant week. The food and drinks were great, the atmosphere was great and the service was great. James are server was very attentive and accommodating.

    We were very excited to try their Ann Arbor Restaurant Week menu that was posted online, but they wouldn’t honor it. I ordered the same items, but was told I had to order them on the regular menu because they had “discrepancies” on the restaurant week one. I checked at the end of restaurant week and the same menu was still posted.
