   Got there in time. They gave us a table upstairs and there were a lot of high school kids there for prom. We weren’t in a rush so we had drinks and appetizers. The high school kids all finished and left and then we waited and waited and waited for our entrees. The waiter was nice and we didn’t really have a problem with him, but he came out and apologized for the wait saying the kitchen was backed up and then we didn’t see him again for 30 minutes. We noticed the few other remaining tables getting frustrated too and asking to cancel their order. We asked where our waiter was because we were tired of waiting (this was now 2 hours after we arrived). He came out and said our food was about to come out. So we got our food - it was fine. Then he came back and said they would comp our desserts. So I clarified if they were comping a dessert for each of 4 in our party and he said he could only do 2. We just took the 2 desserts in to go boxes and left. One note - I can’t eat gluten and they had gluten free pasta options. It was good gf pasta.

   Josh was an incredible server. He made sure our drinks were topped off the whole night and we had everything we needed. We think it was formal or Sadie Hawkins for the local high school as there were about 40 high school students sitting in groups of 10-15 around the restaurant. Even on a busy night with a full dining room, the service from Josh was as best as he could do! We had an event to attend at the delta center and let Josh know, however, I believe we didn’t tell him soon enough because it took a while for our entrees. Overall it was a great experience with great food, just bad timing!

   Another great experience at Caffe Molise! Jewel was a fantastic server and the food was outstanding. I placed a substantial to-go order as well, and Trent assured that it was prompt and handled with care. Beautiful building, great atmosphere, excellent food. Will be back again!!

   Excellent food, generous portions, excellent service, a bit loud. This was our second time dining at Cafe Molise, and we will go again next time we are in SLC.

   Worth going just because it's a beautiful historic building with very good service. I just wish they would have real Italian dishes

   Well, food was good, we asked severall times not to bring the next course to fast. After 10 minutes in we already got the antipasta, again asked to take the time dir the next course. Well after 1 hout and 15 minutes we were standing outside paid $180 for 2 persons. Nothing italian about this.

    Service was really slow, took about 10 minutes to get us water after we sat down and food took well over an hour to come out. Food was very average. Prices were reasonable, ambiance was pleasant, and the waitress was very nice. Definitely a nice date night spot, but not anything to rave home about from the food or speed of service perspective.
