The restaurant was somewhat backed up, kinda of overwhelmed the staff…..food was great as always

The food is fantastic. The chef is amazing and it shows in all the dishes he and his staff create. We have eaten here quite a bit and the food never disappoints. Great wines too. The only problem this most recent visit was the service. Our server was lagging behind all evening. They were busy being valentines weekend, however he didn’t clear away app plates until the main course came out. Never checked in our refilled wine or water. He was probably having a bad night and I hope next time I am in the service will have improved. Other than that…. You won’t be disappointed.

Loved this little spot in Forestville. First time and we would go back for sure. We had the Sangiovese and Spices poached Pear, House smoked Prosciutto and Cheese Sauce, Rosemary Focaccia Crostini to start. DELICIOUS. Very different than flavors I've had before, which FYI I'm a foodie, so this was a nice treat. We followed this with the Stuffed roasted Quail wrapped in Prosciutto over Squash and Parmesan Gratin, Sweet Potato Leaves and Sage Oil. SUPERB! the stuffing was highlighted with sage flavors. BELLISOMO!

Lasagna was fantastic! Ambience was cool funky! Service a bit slow, but they were slammed! Donated 10% of check to good for thought…how great is that! Wonderful place!

Great place for outstanding food. I love they authenticity of how food is prepared and also the impressive wine list. definitely I place to visit for who loves Italian food

Canniti’s chef creates fabulous.very non tradional, creative Italian food. Everything we had was outstanding! We had a pasta with duck, the pasta with salmon, a white polenta fries appetizer, and a dessert with acorn squash. All superb. The service was excellent. Their prices are extremely reasonable. The patio dining area was heated and fabulous.
