La Cantina Italiana est une institution du North End historique de Boston. Le restaurant, qui a servi plusieurs générations de familles, les locaux et les touristes depuis son ouverture en 1931, est réputé pour le goût de ses aliments. Orazio was our server and he was absolutely AMAZING! We had family in town and wanted to give them a great north end experience and HE DELIVERED above and beyond! I will be going back here again.

Exceptional flavors, perfectly cooked dishes, and a delightful dining experience! The bread basket featured soft Italian and focaccia bread—both delicious. Cocktails were expertly crafted, and the waitstaff was outstanding and attentive. A truly wonderful dinner!

Got a last minute reservation here during Dine Out Boston and loved it! The set menu had good options and our waitress gave us wonderful recommendations. The vibe was perfect for a night out… good music, low lighting, booth seating! Would definitely like to come back to try more of the menu!

Unfortunately our meals arrived to the table not hot. Very bland flavor of gnocchi and fettuccine with pesto. Will not be back.

Have been to here many times and the food is always amazing. Our favorite North End spot! The unfortunate part is that we have not had great service. We are a younger looking group, even though we are in our late 20/ early 30s. We don’t drink and typically keep to traditional dishes. That being said, we LOVE dessert. A friend was in town and we naturally wanted to take them here, the food was amazing as always, we were barely finished eating when the check was dropped off. Mind you, the restaurant was empty and was closing in an hour, not a lot of rush to be had. I asked politely to see the dessert menu where the waitress listed 3 things. As someone that has been to the location 8+ times, I have received a physical menu with more than 3 options on it. We were looking to have dessert and coffees to end the night but it was clear our server was not interested in the extra cash. Disappointing.
