Pros: Great looking place, server was very good. Cons: ask to not have onions, onions were added anyway, food was cold, took along time to get food, forgot a item, orange juice was really very watered down. Place was not busy, so don; understand why service was so slow.

The Thanksgiving dining experience was lovely. The food was good. The service was good. The atmosphere was nice. It did feel a bit expensive however it was Thanksgiving. One little quick sidenote they should’ve offered coffee, tea, etc. in the buffet line. I did have a coffee after dinner however I had to ask for it as it was not featured with the food and desserts. Thanks.

We've eaten here before, very good. This time, for the Prime Rib Tuesday, a bit average. 4 of us so slightly different opinions but basically vegetables very good, garlic mash I liked, my wife didn't, she thought it tasted like instant mash. The prime rib was a bit on the small side and not very flavorful, we all agreed. Salad was fine and desert quite good. Overall, probably what you could expect for $35 3-course meal these days, but we all agreed we would expect more from Crossings having had excellent meals in the past visits. Our thoughts overall, are that it would be better to charge $40 or even $45 and raise the quality of the meat especially.

Came in for lunch on 11/6/24 with my daughter-in-law and my 2 year old grandson. I asked for a highchair, and said maybe they shouldn't seat us close to others in case the toddler acted up or made noise (which he didn't!). They assured me it would be perfectly fine. They weren't worried about it at all, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. It is a gorgeous place with wonderful food and service, and we will be back. Warm regards, Jeanne

Our Sunday brunch did not disappoint! All 4 of us loved our meals: burger, waffle, hash and lobster roll! Canyons is a hidden gem in Carlsbad. Great ocean and golf course views.
