   I had high expectations for my New Year’s meal at the Peabody Hotel restaurant - Capriccio, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. To start, there were no clear directions indicating that the only entrance was off Second Street, which was quite inconvenient, especially since I was wearing stilettos. This oversight set a frustrating tone for the evening. Once seated, I was left without a steak knife for the majority of my meal, which made dining unnecessarily challenging. Imagine cutting your food with a butter knife. The waiter continued ignoring me despite attempts to gain his attention. Additionally, I had to request champagne instead of being offered it as part of the New Year’s celebration—something I felt should have been more thoughtfully handled as it was listed with the advertisement. As the evening concluded, I learned that the "sweet treat" we were promised to take home was actually New Year’s hats. However, we were not informed about these on the way in, so many of us missed out on receiving them. While it’s always a pleasure to visit the iconic Peabody, this visit was disappointing. I’ve never been treated so poorly here before, and I hope this was an exception rather than the standard. Overall: A nice venue but a lackluster dining experience.

   NYE 2024 meal did not deliver. Special occasion. Menu looked awesome. $135 per person no problem. I’ve been here previously Chicken pot pie appetizer, basically no vegetables in pie with diced chicken. Crab cake appetizer, little crab almost doughy Filet and lobster, filet spot on (only item saving rating from being a one) lobster tail size underwhelming, but prepared perfectly. Lamb chop consisting of 6 with little meat. Not tender. The desserts literally came from the deli across the hallway. No special NYE desserts. Also, just noticed on menu “special take home treat”. We. Didn’t get that. My point…. I’ve eaten here on regular steak menu and always awesome. Shocked NYE would be the off night. Will I go back, of course, just disappointed.

   Great food, but pricey. Atmosphere is not great at dinner--lots of families with cranky small children. Service was a bit slow.

   A special lunch with daughter and granddaughters was accomplished in a restaurant with good food and ambience with great service by Amanda.

   I took my wife there for a late anniversary dinner. We had a reservation and was quickly seated. Our server Stacy was great and had some fantastic suggestions as to drinks and entrees. Our food was prepared in a very timely manner and was cooked to perfection. We had the Stairway to Crisp Heaven and recommend it. I had the deluxe night out with Jack and highly recommend it. My wife had the Australian Wagyu steak and the Ms Marilyn's Sweet potato casserole, both were delicious. The grill had a great atmosphere and low background noise, it was easy for us to talk and enjoy our evening easily. I do highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to dine.

   The restaurant was clean and well staffed. Our waiter was very attentive and helped us in anyway. However, there was a solicitor walking around in the restaurant, asking for money

   Our waitress was outstanding! She was friendly and personable. She needs a management position because of her exceptional personality. The food on the other hand was way overpriced for simple items that tasted bland. This is the second or third time we’ve had this type of experience. We won’t be coming back.

   We did not feel that we got a good value for the $80 Prix Fix Christmas menu. Food was OK, but not excellent like we expected.

    Christmas dinner, waitstaff were amazing, food was served quickly without a hitch. Kitchen was accommodating for my restrictions even though it was a fixed menu. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. Excellent experience.
