Carli's Fine Bistro & Piano located in the heart of historic Old San Juan Puerto Rico was born on December 27, 1998, as a place where locals and international patrons could gather to enjoy a unique live musical and fine dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere.

We have world-class live music nightly: Mondays and Thursdays we have jazz music at around 6:30 pm, and on Tue, Wed, Th, Fridays & Saturdays we have Jazz Piano from 8 PM, and on Saturday, a Classic Rock Duo, from 6:30 PM.

Nested on the plaza level of the historic art deco Banco Popular building, Carli's warm and artistic vibe will charm you while you savor exotic assortments of gourmet tapas and exquisite international entrees, or sip on your favorite martini from our classic bar on our main room or under the stars with a view of the SJ Bay.

Carli’s excels in the art of fine dining and live jazz entertainment, without sacrificing the comfort of casual elegance and competitive pricing. Live music begins nightly.

Gourmet food for 5 - 3 had the grouper which was outstanding. Service was spot on. Even the kid singing was good

We had a great meal at Carli’s! The servers are all very friendly and the live music created a nice atmosphere. The locations is very pretty to sit outside. The tuna tartare was wonderful! Portion sizes are very nice.

Both the owner and his son verbally and physically assaulted me. Both grabbed my phone and my arms and tried to wrestle me to the ground. They claimed they called the police but they didn’t. They demanded payment or would not let us leave. It’s interesting that the police never arrived. They kept saying to pay and get the f out. Both of the males. The only sensible one was the owner’s son’s wife. She tried to de-escalate the situation and tried to get to the bottom of what happened. It wasn’t successful due to the power trip that both her husband and her father in law were on. The entire video, if we could upload it, shows the owner and his son grabbing my phone and arms and attempting to put me on the ground as if I was a felon and just committed murder. I was simply asking why I was charged for steak when they told me they were out of chicken! All he could keep asking was “DID YOU EAT IT?!?!” Insane!!

Es un lugar único que hay que conocer, desde el recibimiento al llegar con mucha amabilidad y la comida es exquisita desde el aperitivo, los cócteles hasta el postre. El ambiente y música estupendos aunque no tocaron el piano esa noche, pero si hubo música en vivo. La pasamos lindo.

Don’t get the Ahi Tuna here, very chewy. Service was REALLY slow. Nice atmosphere but not worth the price.

Best meal, and experience at Karli's. Sat outside, listening to live music. All around a wonderful experience.

Our first night in San Juan did not disappoint us, and Carli's was a great choice as our adventure began. We sat outside which was wonderful and listened to a good musician which added to the ambiance. Our server was friendly (who isn't in San Juan - everyone is so nice) and our food was delicious. David had the lobster ravioli and I had the grouper. The location was perfect and very close to our hotel El Covento. We liked it enough to return the next time we visit PR. This time we will try sitting inside to listen to some jazz.

My husband and I go to Carli's everything we are visiting Puerto Rico. It never disappoints. The food is always amazing.
