Carmine's is a family style restaurant offering exceptional value to its guests through the many dishes of Southern Italian cuisine. Restaurateur Artie Cutler crafted Carmine's with a singular vision; bringing his guests abundant portions and making any meal feel like an Italian American wedding feast.

Platters of made to order pasta, decadent seafood or meat entrees, and of course homemade desserts are all staples at Carmine's, meant for sharing among friends and family. Always a great experience at Carmine's! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Lots of energy in the dining room where just about every table was celebrating a birthday. FUN!

We have eaten at Carmine’s NYC for 15+ years. Mostly in NYC after every play, birthdays and holidays; and we have also enjoyed the Atlantic City and DC. On every visit, the service has been good or better and the food has been amazing. This evening we had a very poor experience across the board. The service was okay, the food was off/below average, and not sure why, we barely had enough food to feed 4 (of which 2 are kids). The Calamari app was awesome and plentiful but our veal saltamboca and lemon chicken were very small portions. 4 pieces of meat in each. The worst was our table. It was smaller than every other 4 top, which would have been okay but over a foot on each end was completely warped down so you couldn’t put anything on it; and we jammed in a corner next to another table where I had to move for the waiters at least 4 or 5 times while eating. As 50 year old, I don’t think I ever written a poor review. Especially not for a place I love and has been a staple of our NYC experience. The experience was that bad that we have already discussed other “new” options next time (Nocello’s on 55th….).

Celebrated my son’s birthday and we enjoyed ourselves! Excellent service, from the hostess, bus boy and our server. She was very attentive and sweet. The food is so good and large portions!!! Large cozy place and it felt like sitting in someone’s home while dining. Definitely will be going back! Happy Holidays!
