   The food felt a little too pricey, especially the cost of the food we expected. I didn’t expect Carmine’s to be a little too expensive, but whatever. I let my friend, Joey to pay the bill and told him that I can pay him back through Venmo.

   We LOVED LOVED this place! You can tell people love eating there. As soon as we walked in, it was extremely booked with people even waiting outside. We were lucky enough to find an open table for that evening. If you do consider eating here PLEASE MAKE RESERVATIONS! The plates are HUGE!! They can feed 2 people and you will still have enough to take home. Our waitress Nadia, was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, attentive, and sweet. We were visiting D.C for the weekend, but I sure wish they had a restaurant down in FL! The 4 cheese pasta was beyond words! So much creaminess, the perfect amount of cheese, and you can tell it was made with love! And the zuppa di mussels (to die for!) such abundance of different flavors coming together! Truly loved this place, will definitely eat here again the day we return. Great job to everyone who works at the restaurant, you can truly tell everyone loves what they do. Chef, youre food is amazing!!!

   went on 02.15 for my 18th birthday, the service and food were so amazing!! chaferal was such a sweet server. if you get him as your server, tip him WELL!!!!

   It was a lot of confusion at the hostess stand. We had a reservation for 3pm and weren't seated until almost 3:30 pm bc the hostess was overwhelmed spending too much time on one party and their demands. The front of the restaurant was packed full of people waiting to be seated. Once we were seated our server was excellent. The food was delicious and my daughter and her friends enjoyed her birthday celebration. I do think they need to improve the experience with checking in it was chaotic and not good hospitality.

   We had reservations for 7pm and got seated right away. Our waitress took our drink and appetizer order a few moments later. We didn’t get our drinks for approximately 25-30min. Once we got our drinks, we ordered our food. About 25min after ordering food the waitress came over and said our appetizer would be out shortly — again this was about 50min after ordering the appetizer. Less than a minute later the waitress brought out our entree. I could tell she seemed confused and began talking with other staff pointing at our table most likely realizing our appetizer never came. After almost an hour after being seated, we were finally served our dinner, sharing the Manicotti, which was good, creamy inside but nothing to write home about especially for $35. We then ordered the cheesecake which was pretty good. After having the leftover cake boxed up, the waitress brought over our check. Now let me remind you, she mentioned to us that our appetizer would be out shortly but had never mentioned it again. When I looked at the check the appetizer was not on there meaning she chose to gloss over it. She never apologized for it never coming, never said she wasn’t going to charge us, just pretended it never happened. It appeared the restaurant was decently busy on Valentines Day but it also seemed like there was plenty of staff. So I’m not sure of the issue here. We did notice that tables around us weren’t being bussed for 15-20min after the customers had left. I would suggest if you’re coming here, to come in at least a group of 4 or more as the portions are family style and you will be leaving with leftovers.

   Carmines is amazing - wonderful food, attentive staff, and good value for the price paid. True Italian-style home cooking. A special place indeed.

    We had 8 in our group and all of us loved our dinner! The restaurant was beautiful. The food was amazing - and huge portions! Will definitely be back!
