   Boca location. Reso was for 7:30, and I got seated at 8:00. Fine dining? Not exactly. Most items were overcooked. ( Lamb order medium rare, came extremely well done like shoe leather.) Sent it back and was still charged half price on it. The manager never even came over to apologize and the restaurant was half empty.I was in the industry for 40 years, and know a extremely poorly run operation when I see it. Shrimps overcooked and tough. ( Probably the easiest thing to cook properly) Pasta was oversauced. Overall a horrible experience.

   We’ve been going to Casa D’Angelo for 15 years and always had a great experience—until last night. Our waiter, Ponce, was the worst. From the start, he was rude and pushy, constantly trying to upsell appetizers, wine, and dessert. Despite mentioning multiple times that we were celebrating a birthday, he brought out four pieces of strawberry with a candle instead of a proper dessert. He refused to take our appetizer order until we decided on the main course, and after ordering at 9 PM, we didn’t get our food until 11 PM. He also exaggerated portion sizes to make us order more. When we asked for a group photo, he simply ignored us. It’s disappointing that one bad waiter can ruin a great restaurant’s reputation, but after this experience, we won’t be coming back.
