Our recently renovated waterfront restaurant offers the best view of Steveston’s historic harbor, we are perfectly situated to catch all the brilliant sunsets and our roof top patio features a magical 270-degree panoramic view of the rivers inlet. With ample indoor seating and a large bar area providing great vantage points for enjoying views of the water, Catch Kitchen + Bar is the perfect spot for intimate dinners and celebrations.     Food was a disappointment. My fish was overcooked and very dry. It was replaced, and cooked better, still not perfect, but better. Still not worth the price. It also took 20 minutes for the replacement, so I was the only one eating in the end. The rice on my plate was not seasoned at all, and there was no salt on the table. It was like no effort was made to make the gluten free menu palatable. The salad of another at our table came with no dressing on it (as it was supposed to in the description). She had to ask for it. The lobster mac and cheese was just overly rich and cloying, needed some kind of acid for relief. The ceasar salad was under dressed and had no lemon. The foccaccia on one of the plates was so stale that it crumbled - and that was the plate that did not come with butter. The soup and the mussels were good, as were the crab cakes. Our server was fine up until we all sat there with our plates taken away waiting for 20-30 minutes in an almost empty restaurant for our bill. We are doing well enough in life that spending $400 on a really good meal is doable. But not so well that spending $400 on a mediocre-at-best meal is doable.

    Fabulous views. Lovely decor and comfortable seating and good varied menu. The only con is slow service. It was difficult to catch the server’s eyes when we were ready to pay the bill.

    Catch is perfectly located in the harbour of seaside Steveston. Lovely restaurant, great food and excellent service. The adjoining lounge is a lovely spot for a pre or after dinner drink. Importantly, both venues are designed to provide a quiet enough ambience to allow conversation.
