Cellini’s culinary style of chic simplicity produces a menu of astounding freshness and creativity. We began with a masterful rendition of cornmeal polenta wedges with masses of slivered shitake mushrooms and a calamari salad garnished with beans and scallions, each set off with a hot, homemade foccacia, augmented with sliced crusty Tuscan bread. We next chose panzotti-supple half moon pasta filled with fresh, crisp vegetables lightly bathed in a delicate porcini mushroom sauce. A unique tubular pasta stuffed with the freshest fish and spinach under a seasoned fish stock was enough to show us that each dish here has its own personality, and is densely concentrated with flavor.

My favorite Italian restaurant didn’t disappoint. It was an all around an outstanding experience. The appetizers and the main courses were exceptional. I highly recommend the octopus appetizer and the Fruti di Mare main course.

One of my favorite restaurants in NYC! The service is always top notch and the food is consistently amazing. I always recommend Cellini to anyone looking for great Italian food and a great atmosphere. Love it!

The place was able to accommodate a large party.. the drinks once we got them were great. The food and portions were also great.Loved the dishes with tomatoes which somehow this time of the year were just delicious. Really loved all the meals which were hot and dessert. A great experience in NYC during the busy holiday season. The wait staff could have been a lot more attentive. Asked for bread 5 times and drinks took a long time.. but overall a great experience.
