I love dining at Chachama! It’s one of my favorite places to eat; however, the cologne that some of the servers wear affects my experience. Not only am I sensitive to smell, but I also have fragrance allergies. As a result, my eyes itch, and my chest tightens affecting my ability to breathe normally, just to name a few symptoms. Because of my sensitivity, I’ve always felt that there should be a universal rule for people in service to not wear fragrance or strong scents. Chachama is not a large restaurant, so multiple people wearing strong fragrances is sensory overload, and it negatively affects my experience.

We have been there a few times before, my husband and I, and it was delicious every time. Last night we enjoyed the tiny room with friends and received fabulous service. Everyone in our party of six enjoyed their food, from filet mignon to Chilean sea bass (my favorite dish there), vegetable substitutions were made with no fuss. Our servers were attentive without making it feel like they were hovering. And we didn't feel rushed at all, which was lovely while catching up with old friends. Truly a wonderful evening and I highly recommend.

We were very pleased with dinner. When we arrived we had concerns due to the blackout windows but service was great and drinks were good. Menu excellent and food very good. Good prices too!

Chachama is located in a terrible shopping center, yet it has thrived for many years. Thanks to Elmer Rubio for the great atmosphere, fabulous food, drinks and “over the top” service! Do yourself a favor and make a reservation to try this gem real soon!

Always the best food and experience here. Staff is incredibly attentive and friendly and funny! Had a girls’ night and everything was perfect. I highly recommend Chachama. Never had a bad meal here!
