Chandler’s opened it’s doors in December of 1999 behind the historical Symons General Store building. It’s a cozy place with only 50 seats in the main dining room & 10 seats at the bar. When real estate is too tough to find - it’s standing room only! For a change of scenery, guests can enjoy dining in the wine cellar where they are surrounded by the 4,000 bottle collection that serves both the restaurant and Symons General Store. In the warmer months, guests can choose to dine outside, on Chandler’s brick courtyard.

Our service was impecable. Lively environment but not a place for intimate conversation due to tables being very close together. Definitely a must do when in Petoskey for a lovely dinner and drinks.

We love eating here but today was a disappointment! A favorite of ours is the crispy chicken sandwich . It is usually tender juicy and not greasy but today it was none of that. Almost felt like they changed chicken suppliers. Very disappointing. Won’t keep us away but will slow us down when making our dining location choice. Hopefully it was a fluke.

WE enjoyed a table for two in the wine room on Thanksgiving Day 2024. The service was great and the foods selection was not your typical turkey and dressing (however that was a special of the the day) Chandlers is a bit pricey, so be prepared for that. The food is very good, well done by the staff. The squash soup is really good, very different.

It was our first time and we were very pleased - the server was very attentive, patient, friendly. Food presentation, quantity and taste was very good. Very cozy vibe.
