Chapeau is a gem. A small restaurant in Inner Richmond with a narrow well curated menu and an astounding wine list. The proprietors are friendly and welcoming. The wait staff is attentive without being obtrusive. The food is classic French prepared flawlessly. I highly recommend Chapeau

Delightful French food. Done with a light touch and attention to taste and appearance. Wonderful wine pairing. Chapeau bakes its own bread, makes its own ice cream, and offers creative cocktails. The Branzino is fantastic. In fact there was not one miss in the whole evening. What’s more, you feel pampered without being suffocated. Fine food and old fashioned hospitality. A winner.
