   I reserved a table well in advance of Valentine's Day, said it was for a special occasion for a group of 4, I requested a table, not booth. The table they tried to give us was in the very back dark corner of the bar. Needless to say, I refused. they then showed us to a booth, which is specifically what I asked not to have. In order to save time, we went ahead with the booth, although there were ample empty tables they could have seated us in. The server was fine, but the service was not. We got our bread / appetizers in a timely fashion but then waited over 45 minutes for the entrees. We only ordered 2, a chicken sandwich and a ribeye. The server said they were waiting on the ribeye? Doesn't make sense that a piece of meat cooked for a total of 8 minutes or so would take 45 minutes to serve. The food itself was okay. The brussels sprouts were on the border of being mush and the potato was .. almost burnt. They were probably sitting waiting while the ribeye was cooked. Overall, I would say the experience was .. meh. Which is unfortunate as it was both Valentine's Day and my mother's 83rd birthday dinner. Would not recommend and may / may not be back

   We had a few hiccups with our meal. The entree came out before our appetizer and when the entree was returned it was a little bit cold. The server did her best but it did take away from the experience. We usually enjoy Charbonos and we will most likely be back.

   Our server was EXCEPTIONAL ! Always checking on us keeping our glasses filled and gave an honest opinion for our questions regarding certain foods on the menu. She's a real credit to Charbono's. The food was great and all the staff we interacted with were very pleasant.

   When making the online reservation we mentioned our anniversary and a birthday as reasons for dining out. Upon arrival we were presented with cards signed by the staff, acknowledging our anniversary and birthday.

   We were lucky enough to have the private room so the dining experience was awesome and the noise level was from the kitchen only.

   Charbono's is one of my favorite places in Hendricks County. I have gone with just my husband, just my family, and with large groups. Doesn't matter how many of us are in the party, the service is always good, and the food is delicious.

   I had been to Charbonos dozens and dozens of times and it has always been an excellent meal however that took a drastic turn on Saturday January 25th 2025. We made reservations to go out for my birthday dinner and have a nice meal and I always look forward to their filet mignon. In previous times the cut of meat was always nice and thick juicy excellent flavor great seasoning topped with a nice pat of butter which made it a really delicious flavorful steak however this time it was not to be, the cut of steak was mediocre at best it was very thin it did not have very good flavor at all tasted like a low quality piece of meat and we were all extremely disappointed The brussel sprouts That came with the steak was more like a pile of mush. Extremely soggy and unflavorful I couldn't even eat more than a couple of bites of that. This experience went downhill really really fast and we were very surprised because our past experiences again as I've said has always been great.
