Neighborhood French-inspired bistro featuring an ever-changing French-Fusion menu that keeps you coming back to try the things you didn’t have room for.
Marianne’s organic garden helps supply Warren’s kitchen with his beloved fresh produce & both are actively involved in the local food movement.
The ambiance is fusion as well - bistro style rather than “fine dining” - that is at once classic French and comfortable with an open kitchen so foodies can watch the work in progress. Art work is a mix of Mucha prints and Warren’s photography. Music is quirky.
Nightly wine by the glass specials, carefully curated wine list and a delightful cocktail menu round out drinks offerings.
Neither high chairs nor booster seats are available.
Reservations are for a two hour time period.
Classic Parisian style sidewalk seating available.
Warren and his wife Marianne have spent the last twenty-five years delighting diners with their worldly cuisine & genuine hospitality.

If considering this restaurant, I would take a pass and look at other options. Food was not as to be expected. French onion soup while hot on top (cheese) the soup itself was warm. Fish was over done and salty, hanger steak was fine but the French fries and gravy all turned to mush. Pecan pie that supposedly famous for had a good butter crust but the pie it self was very average. Service staff was lovely.

Food was excellent. Everyone loved what they ordered including dessert. Service not so much. Our appetizer never came, slow getting drink refills. Owner was rude when we commented.

My wife and I had a fantastic meal. The staff was very attentive, polite and knowledgeable about the menu offerings and specials. We highly recommend Chef Warren's for anyone finding themselves in Southern Pines or the Greater Sandhills area.

Chef Warren’s has been a consistently fantastic experience for over 25 years. I have eaten there well over 200 times and have always enjoyed terrific food and drink, along with a helpful, attentive, and friendly wait staff. Watching the “ballet” in the display kitchen is a treat!

We had another delightful evening having dinner with our son who was visiting from out of town. Our meals were very good , the service was excellent, no complaints about our experience. Thank you for making our evening memorable!
