   Salmon was awful. Like something from a box. Salty and deep fried or something not a filet. I could barely eat it. However with friends you don’t make a fuss. Lovely place, good service. Horrible meal. Unbelievable. This is a gem but that meal should never have left the kitchen.

   The service was good initially until our server inexplicably disappeared and we went unattended. Another server showed up with no explanation. The food was mediocre. Steaks were over cooked. Halibut was tasty but swimming in too much butter; vegetables were soggy. Also escargot was “sold out” at 6:00 pm and restaurant was not yet full - that makes no sense

   What a lovely lunch we had at Chez Loma yesterday. Our server, Kevin, was a one-man show: host, the only server, & bartender extraordinaire. He made our visit so enjoyable with his care on every level. The Caesar Salad was so crisp and fresh. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was a lovely dish, served elegantly in a silver tray atop a wooden plank, with the creamiest Mac & Cheese topped with a generous piece of lobster meat! The Salmon in Beurre Blanc was cooked perfectly, just as it was the last time we were here. Finished with an exquisite Chocolate Lava Cake topped with Vanilla Ice Cream, a beautiful glass of port and a Bailey’s & Coffee. Our table looking into the classic bar and the Orange Avenue scene was cozy and inviting. Wouldn’t change a thing and thought the value was exceptional for the caliber of our experience.

   We always go here when we visit Coronado. The food & service are consistently good, and it feels like you’re dining in a cozy cottage.

   Muy buen lugar en una zona inmejorable, tienen buena comida. Pero en lo particular el día que fui con mi familia el servicio estaba muy lento. Pero bien en términos generales.

   French food during Thanksgiving dinner was delightful. The service was subpar however due to many dining guests that evening. I asked for water thrice and finally got it at the fourth request. If there was more attention paid to the patrons, then it would have been a better rating. Mom opted for the Thanksgiving pre-fixe which was solid. The last part of her pre-fixe took over 30 minutes to get the dessert. So, again service was not as smooth that evening. Also, there was no option for French onion soup as it was a bit chilly.

    Great food! Loved the duck and filet, French onion soup was also amazing. Art our server was excellent!
