Great classic restaurant and menu. Server Grace was terrific and all her suggestions were supurb.Cocktails excellent. Only comment otherwise is lots of stairs to get to upper levels and limited non-stool seating on 1st floor. Ask for leather back wall seating on 1st floor if stools/stairs are not your thing. Stools were very comfortable and cushy but lengthy sitting for the older larger person not recommended

It’s always a nice intimate night at CCH. The food was delicious. We had the bacon appetizer, sea bass and filet with a side of fettuccine Alfredo. Everything was great.

Very good food but very compact and cramped. Tables are tiny and you're back to back with other patrons. 2 drinks were $100 like come on not the place for drinks

Jenny, thank you for dining with us! We're so glad you enjoyed the food & service. You're absolutely right—Valentine’s Day weekend is one of our busiest times. For a more intimate experience, we recommend visiting on a quieter day—I personally prefer that as well. Which drink caught your eye? Our cocktails average $20, with top-tier selections at $64, all starting with a 2-oz pour—more generous than the typical 1–1.5-ozpour at most restaurants. We understand we are expensive and we strive to provide great value at that level. That value comes from serving only USDA Prime steaks—the top 3-4% of beef in the country— & making all our dishes from scratch in-house, including our salad dressings and croutons. We truly appreciate your visit & hope to welcome you back on a more relaxed evening!

The food was amazing like always. The ambiance was soft and pleasurable. The live music is always a great touch. Food was amazing! Drinks are always great. U highly recommend for any occasion

The dry aged steak selection was outstanding! I went with the cowgirl ribeye, while my wife had the prime rib special and let me tell you… don’t let the name fool you, the cowgirl is enough for any hungry cowboy! And our waiter, Joshua, was an absolute delight! This will be on my list for a nice dinner anytime we’re in Chicago!

Another excellent experience at The Chicago Chop House. Cocktails and food were excellent and “FANNY” our server was attentive, fun, and there when we needed her - she ROCKED! We are looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended. A Chicago classic.
