Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy.     All I can say about this place is that the food is good. If u want a great app get the Baria Spring Rolls. To management…Gavin is absolutely amazing!!

    Asked for medium rare and medium top sirloin , both were rare, asked for the medium to be taken back, it was taken back and cooked more but it was still rare when brought back. It’s also not good service to bring back the same steak , instead of just cooking a new. Very strange. I’ve been here before and had a great experience. Unfortunately for Valentine’s Day, it was not. The waiter was also confused when I was explaining that the steak was not medium even though he could see it was not.

    The only dish that was good was the chilli shrimp. My wife's steak and lobster were undercooked. Fries were lukewarm. Spanish coffee was cold and lacked any liquer. However, the only saving grace was the outstanding service that was very caring and professional. Also worthy of note is that they removed the charge for the steak and lobster and gave us a free dessert

    We have been to this Chop several times and this visit . as our previous visits, did not disappoint. Food was excellent, as was the service (thanks to Mark) . It was also good to see Roger and Nadia during our visit good to catch up and we plan to see you all again soon…

    The food and service were excellent as always! I hope the short rib feature gets added to the menu. While the mushroom risotto was great, I think the short rib would be best with something simpler.

    I have eaten here a number of times over the years that Chop has been open, but I think the food standard has slipped a little in terms of their steaks, which is why many people use this restaurant. Also they tend to overcook the steaks a little that are ordered on the rarer side. Ambience and service is good.
