A couple enjoying each others company tucked into a banquette late in the evening…a group of girlfriends people-watching from the sidewalk tables over brunch…two neighbors stopping by to grab lunch at the bar.

These people all have one thing in common as they enjoy a meal here on Fillmore Street in Pacific Heights- Chouquet's. Whether inside our dining room or outside under the heated protection of our large awning, diners come to Chouquet’s to enjoy fresh, seasonal French bistro fare in a casual yet refined environment. I rarely feel compelled to write a review, but I came in with my 4-month-old daughter and Mark went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The food was also amazing, but we will come back for the service alone!

I always enjoy dining at Choquet's with fellow fans or friends coming for the first time. I love the French atmosphere and cuisine and the sincerely good service!

Very unique feel for the neighborhood and the city and so appreciate the authentic staff and food. Also love the ability to get a beautiful omelette for lunch with mixed greens and frites.

It’s a convivial atmosphere and I always enjoy it. Very busy as usual but nice staff. When it’s good weather, they have outdoor tables, as well as a parklet. Enjoy!

Chouquet's is a charming French bistro in a great location. Menu items are reasonably priced. My friend and I had their French onion soup, which tasted authentic. My friend had the butter lettuce salad and loved it. I had the croque monsieur. It was served as an open face sandwich rather than the traditional sandwich. The crispy cheese on the edges was great, but overall, it was dry. I think serving it in the traditional way would allow the melted cheese keep the sandwich moist on the inside. Service was attentive and we were made to feel warmly welcomed.

We were out in a parklet and a bit neglected. I had to go in to order coffee and dessert. They were also out of the dessert special that were told about at the start of our meal.
