   Food was great. We were a little disappointed that the filet special was not available when our reservation was for 5pm, but everything else was great.

   Our server was attentive, efficient and sweet. We were celebrating a birthday and our server brought a birthday card to her that was signed by several members of the staff. It was a nice touch.

   A first rate Sunday brunch ~ the food was delicious, our server Jeffery was attentive to our every need, the environment is quiet enough to have a conversation but convivial enough to have a nice vibe. CIRCA never disappoints, which is why it’s one of our favorite Clarendon restaurants!

   Husband ordered a Mojito that was very refreshing and flavorful - could imagine it being a nice summer drink. The special food list afforded me the option of a favorite - Waldorf salad with perfectly grilled chicken. Too bad it was a special menu as that would be a meal I'd go back for again and again - delicious. Husband very much enjoyed his soup of the day and the jambalaya. Bread pudding dessert was likewise delicious. Had a slight "hmm" at shift change while there, but the server recovered nicely to round out the evening. I put it squarely in the category of "in rotation."

   We ( party of 5) had never been to Circa and decided to try it during Restaurant Week after reading good reviews and the inclusion of vegetarian items for our vegetarian buddy. We were there promptly and 4 of us chose the Restaurant Week lunch menu. Our server, Janee, was excellent and very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful. Those who had the tomato arugula soup ate every bite, I had the kale Parmesan salad which was very tasty. Two ordered the salmon and said it was perfectly cooked ( cauliflower was overly salty) . Burger person was happy and we all happily tasted the mountain of extra crunchy fries. Happy with the quinoa bowl. We all ordered the bread pudding per Janee’s recommendation- Rave reviews all around. Will definitely be back.

   My flatbread was really good. My friend had a salad that had too much dressing. Services’s was excellent. We were able to sit and visit without constant interruption.

    This was a special annual New Year’s lunch for our group. The whole experience was perfect, from making the reservations, the food, the service (esp the service). We hadn’t eaten at the Clarendon site before but enjoy the Foggy Bottom Circa. Look forward to returning.
