Clos Maggiore est une oasis de calme au cœur de Covent Garden. Influencé par les auberges de campagne stylisées de Provence et de Toscane ses intérieurs uniques créent une chaleur et une intimité qui plaisent tant aux gens d'affaire qu'aux particuliers. La véranda a un toit en verre entièrement rétractable créant un espace salle à manger lumineux et aéré, particulièrement agréable pendant les saisons de printemps et d'été. Il se transforme en soirée par l'utilisation de bougies, la lueur des étoiles et un feu crépitant pendant les mois d'hiver. Le Chef de cuisine Marcellin Marc propose une sublime cuisine d'inspiration provençale avec un panache contemporain. Marcellin est déterminé à utiliser des ingrédients locaux et saisonniers pour créer des menus parfaitement équilibrés qui se sont mérités trois rosettes - AA depuis 2008. La vaste cave du Clos Maggiore compte plus de 2000 crus et a été bonifiée plus tôt cette année pour inclure 400 vins supplémentaires à des prix allant d'accessible - à moyen de gamme. Nous sommes très fiers d'avoir obtenu le "Best of Award of Excellence" sans interruption depuis 2003 attribué par le Wine Spectator.

Details Pre-Theatre, dining experience of 1 hour 45 minutes. Available Monday to Sunday 5pm to 5:45pm. - 2 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £32.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 3 course set menu including a glass of bubbles at £39.50 per person, excluding discretionary service charge at 12.5% - 48 hours cancellation policy from the date of booking, cancellation this period will incur a charge of £40.00 per person to the card provided. - We welcome children above the age of 14 years.

Lovely ambience for a restaurant, very cosy and intimate. Service was immaculate. The food was extremely good. Will definitely come again.

I have eaten here many times. The staff are wonderful and very attentive. The restaurant has lovely feel about it, I love the decoration in the conservatory room downstairs and the panelling in the upstairs room. The truffled cheese souffle was a highlight as was the cooking of the roast cod. I also particularly liked my chocolate and pecan delice. The food as a whole is always really lovely and usually gets a 5 but today was a 4 for me. I gave constructive feedback about two elements which were very gracefully fed back to the kitchen. (My starter was a little TOO al dente & one of my side dishes was not warm enough so should have had its cover on for longer prior to serving! So nothing earth shattering but if you don't say anything then improvements cannot be made!) Assuming this review doesn't get me banned, I hope to go back some time soon.

An outstanding birthday lunch in the private dining room upstairs. Fantastic service for both food and wine. A perfect day.

Amazing! Food was as good as ever - sea bream crudo and pork from.the lunch menu was excellent. We had the table for two hours but there was no rush for us to leave. Fantastic experience as always and will definitely be back.

Nice restaurant Seated upstairs, nicely spaced tables, nicely presented. Staff very good and friendly Food very good, options available from a la carts to set menu No rush between courses, nicely spaced. Highly recommend

We had the set weekend menu and the food and service were both immaculate. It isn’t cheap but certainly was value for money for that special lunch

The team at Clos Maggiore were amazing! So friendly, and provided advice on selection. They went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying the evening. The food was incredible, we had the monkfish and the beef … both were amazing! A really sweet touch was a little happy birthday cake for my fiancee which was lovely and hugely appreciated. We will be back!

Zeer makkelijk en verfijnd eten. We hadden de tasting menu samen met de wine pairing. Win pairing was ook heel goed.
