Awarded a Michelin-star for 23 consecutive years and now celebrating it's 26th year, quality, flavour and creativity are just three words to describe Pascal Aussignac’s Michelin-starred temple to the gastronomy of his native Gascony where food and wine have a unique synchronicity.

Located next to Smithfield market near Crossrail, Farringdon, Barbican and St Paul's, Club Gascon boasts stunning menus that focus on the finest ingredients from Southwest France.

In a chic yet relaxed dining room, guests are invited to choose from an a la carte menu as well as Pascal Aussignac's signature Le Marche tasting menu. Club Gascon manages it's own kitchen garden (since 2021) and offers an extensive vegetarian menu.

The Wine Cellar is as fascinating as it is extensive, composed of over four hundred varieties, many exclusive to Club Gascon in the UK.

Enjoy more wines, cocktails, French tapas, cheese and charcuterie platters in the newly reopened " Le Bar" located next door.

                            Dined here with my wife one Saturday evening in January. The was only half full but there were not enough waiting staff to provide slick service one would expect at this type of restaurant. At the begining of the meal we were waiting for drinks (water, cocktails etc) for irritating length of time. We noticed other diners having to ask for wine to be topped up. We had the 6 course tasting menu and were very disappointed . The dishes looked pretty but were either bland or inedible. The first course was very bland - a few strands of vegetables with a tasteless sea urchin emulsion The mushroom dish was bland (could hardly taste the mushroom) and heavily over-salted, the main course of pheasant was bland and there was a bizzare cheese course that consisted of a badly made sweet macaron filled with a pungent soft cheese. To their credit, the waiting staff realised we were not enjoying our food and brought us two extra courses which were actually tasty - a poached duck egg course and then a conventional cheese board which had a selection of very good cheese. We also had the wine pairing which was a mistake as we were served forgettable, mediocre wines that was paired well with dishes if the intention was to pair bland wines with bland food. Overall, it was very poor meal given the cost and compares very badly with other Michelin star restaurants in the same price bracket. I cannot recall ever, not eating 3 courses in a tasting menu. We did not make a big fuss about not eating the courses we did not enjoy and the staff were charming about it and we left with no hard feelings but will not be returning or recommending this restaurant.

                            We had the most wonderful dining experience. From our arrival to the good byes, the entire team at Club Gascon was amazing and made our evening very special. The food was superb and the wine pairing worked wonderfully. Hope to come back!

                            Fantastic. Delicious, interesting plates of food and excellent wines suggested by Francesca. First visit in many years for the new a la carte menu and a total triumph.

                            Beautiful artistic dishes with interestingly delicious tastes. And great matching wines(I had wine paring course). The staff were calm and professional.

                            This is the best restaurant around Barts Square. Excellent service, delicious food, upmarket but fairly priced.
